Educational institutions near Srinagar airport, several J&K districts shut | KNO

Srinagar, May 07 (KNO): Authorities on Wednesday said that educational institutions near Srinagar airport and in several districts, including Baramulla and Kupwara, shall remain closed today in view of the prevailing situation. Schools in Gurez have also been shut. Divisional Commissioner Kashmir Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, as per news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that all educational institutions around Srinagar airport shall remain closed today. “Besides, educational institutions in Baramulla, Kupwara and Gurez valley shall also remain closed.” The divisional administration in Jammu has also ordered closure of educational institutions in five districts, including Jammu, Samba, Kathua, Rajouri and Poonch. University of Kashmir has also postponed all the exams that were scheduled to he be held today—(KNO)
